There are a lot of people who have heard about Croatia. Croatia is well known for its Mediterranean region. Adriatic sea, beautiful beaches, stone city centers, stunning sunsets and the list goes on. I agree, Adriatic coast is really beautiful and I often go there to rest and cycle.
Croatia has it’s tourism moto and it is ‘Croatia full of life’ and that is true in every word. But not everything in Croatia is on Adriatic coast. There are more to Croatia than the Adriatic sea. Continental Croatia is also stunning and full of life. My mission through this blog posts and newsletter is to show you just how beautiful Continental Croatia is.
My name is Bernard ‘Bero’ and I live in region of Croatia called Slavonia. This region is full of tradition, untouched nature, hiking trails, agriculture and more! The best part of it is, that it is crowd free! No long lines, no traffic jams and general lifestyle is relaxed. We in Slavonia have the opportunity to enjoy all seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn. I don’t have my favorite season because there is beauty in every season.
This is introduction to my blog posts. I will try and bring Slavonia closer to you by cycling. You will get to know all kinds of beautiful locations across Slavonia, like lakes, mountain tops, Slavonia’s culture and more. And no, I did not forget about food, wines, beers and delicateses because Slavonia has it all. You can’t come to Slavonia and stay hungry or thirsty. Our gastro tradition is huge and I will tell you tips and tricks here and there.
